East Timor's interim president has visited Jose Ramos-Horta in Darwin, and says the President has forgiven the rebel leader Alfredo Reinado.
Reinado was killed during an assassination attempt on Mr Ramos-Horta last month.
The President is continuing to recover in Royal Darwin Hospital from injuries sustained in the attack.
In a statement the interim president Fernando "Lasama" de Araujo says the President's recovery is going very well.
He says Mr Ramos-Horta has asked the East Timorese Government to support Reinado's family.
